The Nerf Raider CS-35 is a Nerf blaster released in 2009. It is valued heavily because of its high-capacity 35-dart drum magazine, and sturdy buttstock. The Raider costs around $32.99, and is available at most retail toy stores, as well as Amazon.com.

Pros and ConsEdit

ProsEdit

  • Collapsable buttstock is much sturdier than the Recon CS-6 buttstock, and can be used on other blasters with a Buttstock attachment piece.
  • Its 35-round drum magazine is the highest capacity magazine available.
  • Buttstock attachment piece allows the player to decide which stock to use.
  • The Raider is a Clip System Blaster, and can be reloaded rapidly.
  • Front grip makes priming the blaster much easier than other blasters.

ConsEdit

  • No 6-round clip means the blaster cannot be used until Extended Magazines have been permitted, or until the player purchases or borrows extra 6-round clips.
  • The magwell is located on the left side of the blaster, causing the magazine to weigh down one side of the blaster when held. This also makes extended 18-round clip magazines very intrusive to a right-handed user.
